Stanton District Communication 2/10/2021
Stanton Families
Within the governor’s most recent proclamation it stated that we as a district are responsible for ensuring the safety of our students and staff (please see the information below). In our communication with Montgomery County Public Health the quarantine guidance has not changed for those students and staff who are wearing masks. Therefore, please note that face masks are still required in school, at school activities, and on school buses. Any mitigation strategies that were already in place for athletic events and activities will continue to be in place. Each participant and coach will continue to get six tickets per participant for games. We want to continue to keep everyone safe, and in school as much as possible. Thank you for your assistance, and all you have done this year to help ensure the safety of all students and staff!
We also wanted to let you know that Stanton Schools will be allowing deliveries for Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 12th. Deliveries should be made to the front door where the secretaries will have a contactless pick-up in place. Please understand that we will need to keep the deliveries in the office until the end of the day when they will be distributed to students. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Elwood at kelwood@stantonschools.com.
Finally, with the extremely cold temperatures we are experiencing, we ask that you please remember to send your child to school dressed warmly, including a coat, hat and gloves.
Thank you!
