Live Healthy Iowa Day!
On Wednesday, October 5th, all elementary and high school students participated in a “Live Healthy Iowa Day.”
This day was planned by the National Honor Society members and Student Council officers. To start the day they gathered in the gym and broke off into families. Each family walked on the trail to Anderson Park. At each bridge they stopped and did an activity. Once they got to the park, everyone ate sack lunches provided by the school and the kids had some time to play at the park. Once lunch was over they walked back to the school on the trail where they had bananas and water that were donated by HyVee and Fareway. It was a really fun day and a great way to stay active while all grades got to interact with each other.
