Spirit Leaders Mini Cheer Camp Update:
Thank you to all who participated in the mini cheer camp the HS and JH cheerleaders hosted. We had over 46 girls aged PreK- 6th grade participate. Just a friendly reminder how this next week will go.
Monday Sept. 21~ Shirts and hair ribbons will go home with your child through the school. If you don't have a child in Stanton School, please call Lisa at 712-370-8612 to make arrangements for pick up. Thank you!
Thursday Sept. 24~ Spirit Leaders are to meet at Viking Center at 6:15 wearing their camp shirt, black shorts (black capris or pants ok), hair ribbon and tennis shoes. We will run through the cheers and dance again just so everyone remembers them. We will then head over as a group to the HS gym for the pep rally that starts at 7. The girls will sit as a group till after they perform and then they will join their parents and families in the general seating. Everyone is welcome to come, in fact we encourage it! This is a free event and we would love for everyone to come cheer on our Viking football team as they head into their Homecoming game!
Friday Sept. 25~ Parade participants are to meet at the old fire station on Broad Street (near John's Heating and A/C) at 1:15. This is a change from your pink sheet so mark the time please. The parade starts at 1:30. Again, the girls are to wear their camp shirts, black shorts, hair ribbons and comfortable shoes. We will march as a group and then be released at the end of the parade route. Please have someone near the end to collect your child.
FRIDAY, OCT 9~ Arrive at 6:50 for the 7:00 game. Please wear your camp shirt, ribbon, long black pants and long black shirt under the camp shirt if weather is bad, and tennis shoes. They will sit as a group and cheer on the team until half time. At that time, they will take the football field and do their cheers and dance once more. After their performance, they will be free to go with their parents or family. Everyone is welcome to attend! Please come out and support our Viking boys and the next generation of cheerleaders. Cost of entry at the game- Spirit Leader Girl= Free, Adults= $5, Students= $3.
